A 1Voucher PIN is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. A good way of making sure you don’t lose it, is to write it down in safe place or snap a pic of it with your phone as a backup.

It all depends on where you used your voucher. Each redemption partner has their own terms and conditions when it comes to returns. Check their T’s & C’s (usually available on their website).

1. If you are using the Flash app, generate a 1Voucher to the exact amount of the goods you are buying, then give the PIN number to the cashier or spaza shop owner.
2. If you have a physical 1Voucher, the value of the voucher will be displayed on the slip. Choose your goods to that value and then present the voucher to the spaza shop cashier or owner and they will enter it into the machine.
· Partial redemptions are not possible on Flash machines. Make sure to buy goods to the full value of your 1Voucher if spending it at a Flash shop.
· To make sure you don’t need to get change, pick your items first, calculate the amount, and then, if you are using the Flash app, generate a 1Voucher to the exact amount of your chosen items.
· If you have a 1Voucher on a slip, you will not get change if you buy for less than the full value of the voucher. See above for tips on how to avoid needing change.
· To avoid losing money, first download and register on the Flash app, load your physical/paper 1Vouchers into the app, then generate a 1Voucher for the exact amount of the goods you want to buy.

Yes. Flash Traders are only allowed 1 reprint per day in the case of printer issues, network errors etc.
We are currently testing 1Voucher reprints and will review the number of times a voucher can be reprinted once the trial period is over.

You can go back to the store for further help or, on your device, go to Flash Menu, select Voucher/1Voucher, select 1Voucher, select Accept 1Voucher and type in your 1Voucher PIN. Check your trading balance as you will be charged a small redemption fee.
You will get an error message if you try to accept an invalid PIN or a PIN that has already been redeemed.
An error message might be received if the customer’s PIN is invalid i.e. if the PIN has already been redeemed/used/spent elsewhere; or the PIN number may have been entered incorrectly into the Flash machine; etc.
· If the customer is using their Flash app, instruct the customer to generate a voucher to the exact amount of the goods they are buying.
· If the customer has a physical 1Voucher, the value of the voucher will be displayed on the slip.
· Once the voucher has been redeemed, you will be able to see the amount your Flash machine has been topped up with. To do this, go to your balance on your device and check the amount.
